After considering the stabilization of a specific class of stochastic nonlinear systems in a companion paper, in this second part, we address the classical question of when is a stabilizing (in probability) controller optimal and show that for every system with a stochastic control Lyapunov function it is possible to construct a controller which is optimal with respect to a meaningful cost functional. Then we return to the problem from Part I and design an optimal backstepping controller whose cost functional includes penalty on control effort and which has an infinite gain margin.  相似文献

This paper surveys locally weighted learning, a form of lazy learning and memory-based learning, and focuses on locally weighted linear regression. The survey discusses distance functions, smoothing parameters, weighting functions, local model structures, regularization of the estimates and bias, assessing predictions, handling noisy data and outliers, improving the quality of predictions by tuning fit parameters, interference between old and new data, implementing locally weighted learning efficiently, and applications of locally weighted learning. This paper looks into a new area for knowledge-based system application, that of manufacturing modelling. Manual generation of IDEF0 models of manufacturing systems is time-consuming and inconsistent. However, the process can be automated to improve timeliness and consistency. In this paper, a knowledge-based manufacturing modelling system for the automatic generation of IDEF0 models is proposed. The system will not only greatly reduce the IDEF0 modelling time but will also eliminate the inconsistency problem of conventional IDEF0 modelling systems. The paper explains the knowledge-based approach and identifies the kinds of domain knowledge that are required for the construction of the knowledge-based manufacturing modelling system.  相似文献

针对基于非线性谱分析的故障诊断技术的需要,研究了非线性系统的广义频率响应函数的鲁棒在线建模方 法。首先将次元分析算法应用于Volterra级数模型的辨识,并通过对此算法的修正,得到了一种改进的Volterra系统的鲁 棒辨识算法。对其鲁棒性能进行的分析表明,改进算法的鲁棒抗噪性能被明显提高。在此基础上,提出了一种广义频率响 应函数的两步鲁棒建模新方法。仿真实验表明,该方法具有良好的鲁棒收敛性能,能够有效解决GFRF的在线建模问题。  相似文献

The selection of valuable features is crucial in pattern recognition. In this paper we deal with the issue that part of features originate from directional instead of common linear data. Both for directional and linear data a theory for a statistical modeling exists. However, none of these theories gives an integrated solution to problems, where linear and directional variables are to be combined in a single, multivariate probability density function. We describe a general approach for a unified statistical modeling, given the constraint that variances of the circular variables are small. The method is practically evaluated in the context of our online handwriting recognition system frog on hand and the so-called tangent slope angle feature. Recognition results are compared with two alternative modeling approaches. The proposed solution gives significant improvements in recognition accuracy, computational speed and memory requirements.  相似文献

针对水环境系统的随机不确定性和模糊不确定性,分析了影响水环境中水质风险的不完善性和模糊性因素,将水环境中水质风险作为一个模糊事件,利用模糊事件概率理论,提出了水环境水质超标的模糊随机风险率计算模型。通过引入模糊事件信息熵来评价隶属函数特征值取值的可靠程度,定量描述了隶属函数特征值与风险率的关系,进而计算出风险率。实例计算结果证明了方法的有效性。  相似文献

We define the hazardous waste management problem as the combined decisions of selecting the disposal method, siting the disposal plants and deciding on the waste flow structure. The hazardous waste management problem has additional requirements depending on the selected disposal method. In this paper we focus on incineration, for which the main additional requirement is to satisfy the air pollution standards imposed by the governmental restrictions. We propose a cost-based mathematical model in which the satisfaction of air pollution standards is also incorporated. We used the Gaussian Plume equation in measuring the air pollution concentrations at population centers. A large-scale implementation of the proposed model within Turkey is provided.  相似文献

The estimation of the spectral density function of a stationary Gaussian process at the input of an instantaneous nonlinearity is considered when the nonlinearity is known and a finite set of observations of the output process is given. A class of spectral estimates is considered and their quadratic-mean consistency is established; precise asymptotic expressions for their bias and covariance are derived and their asymptotic normality is obtained.  相似文献

Manual responses can be defined by differing response parameters. Any of them may generate a Simon effect. For all those response parameters, the same implementation of the Simon effect (in terms of subserving mechanism) is assumed. In 3 experiments, subjects had to respond with either fingers or sticks. Temporal properties of the Simon effect changed with response parameters relevant in a task. The Simon effect for manual responses decayed. For stick responses, in which the action goal differed from the anatomical mapping of the acting hand, a sustained Simon effect was observed. However, if the action goal for stick responses was not instrumental for selecting the correct response, the Simon effect decayed.
